That’s where you come in. As we spread the word and bring more customers aboard, we need a full-time Business Developer Manager to join our Sales team, in SeoulThis roles aims to establish a solid commercial presence of Voxbone in Asia; similar to the leading position the company has built in Europe and the Americas. The Asian operations are expected to grow proportionally to the revenue generation from the Region.

     

    As Business Development Manager, you will create and secure new business opportunities in the Region, and facilitate the commercial process between the prospective customers and the European HQ, ultimately responsible for commercial and contractual negotiations.

    In addition, you will build and maintain effective long-term relationship with your customers in order to ensure their high level of satisfaction and to increase revenues and profits. As an employee of the local branch, fully dedicated to Voxbone operations, you will act as main liaison between the growing Asian operations and Headquarters, assuming overall management responsibilities on an “as needed” basis (e.g. office management, IT support,…). It is a perfect opportunity for an Engineer with commercial ambitions (e.g. MBA).

     

    You’ll work as part of a young and vibrant bunch of people across San Francisco, Austin, Los Angeles, London, Brussels, Iasi, Dublin, and Hong Kong.

    Responsibilities

    Deal making

    • Perform market research in the Region 
    • Execute opportunity management in the CRM tool
    • Facilitate the negotiation between prospects and the corporate decision centre, in order to obtain:
      • long term commitment
      • profitable deals
      • high success rate
    • Convey pricing decisions and/or signed contracts from Voxbone to the prospect/customer
    • Note: The employee has no authority to negotiate and/or conclude sales contracts, nor the authority to negotiate sales prices

    New customers

    • Handle inbound prospect requests
    • Liaise with Account Managers in order to ensure smooth transition of management of new accounts
    • Initiate outbound sales calls after identifying prospects
    • Present Voxbone’s procedure and tools to the new customers
    • Provide support in the launch of the services and solutions

    Customer retention

    • Serve as the primary customer contact for account management and business issues of assigned key and strategic accounts
    • Develop ideas and initiative to ensure customer loyalty
    • Liaise with relevant department in order to accommodate customers’ requests
    • Ensure high level of customer satisfaction

    Accounts follow-up

    • Input and maintain activity reporting in CRM system and other relevant tools
    • Monitor the statistics in existing and new accounts to spot growth, loss trends, cancellations, orders, invoicing, traffic, etc. and develop strategic account plans accordingly
    • Provide accurate and timely forecasts to sales management on customers requirement
    • Escalate and follow-up blocking points reported by customers to the right teams

    Qualifications

    To bring the win, you should have/be ...

    • An engineer qualified pursuant to the National Technical Qualification Act
    • Postgraduate education in Business Administration
    • Bi-lingual with working proficiency in English
    • Knowledge of any additional language is an asset
    • Microsoft Office & Internet literate – good level in MS Excel
    • Strong affinity with Internet technologies and the Telecom industry
    • Working knowledge of Zoho (CRM) is an asset
    • Knowledge of national and international regulations requirements in the VOIP business, or a strong motivation to acquire this knowledge on the short term
    • Creative, enthusiastic and optimistic
    • Pro-active, persuasive, persistent, patient and able to deliver
    • Customer-oriented: able to show both sympathy and empathy towards customers
    • Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations
